Pre-K Class had an extra fun Thursday at Northern Star Farm. They went on a hayride out to the pumpkin patch, played in the activity center, and met some amazing animals!

The Careers of Tomorrow Expo
Juniors and Seniors had the incredible opportunity to speak with over 50 businesses including human resources, from a wide range of careers sponsored by Montco Works. The Careers for Tomorrow Expo in Oaks allowed students to explore a variety of careers through simulations, conversations, displays, and demonstrations. Students enjoyed a free lunch as they discussed potential career options.
A Beautiful Day at Longwood for our Second Grade
Second grade took their field trip to Longwood Gardens. The students learned about different flowers and plants. They also had time to explore the beautiful grounds and enjoyed seeing the fountain show.
First Grade Visits the Audubon Center
First grade visited the John James Audubon Center and enjoyed learning more about his studies, artwork and birds. They played and discovered in the museum, went in a scavenger hunt to find various things in nature, listened to a talk on the differences among birds and met Oden the owl!
Our 10th Annual History Day “The American Industrial Revolution
Parents, teachers, and volunteers spent so many hours planning, preparing, and presenting this Friday. The hard work does not go unnoticed. We could not do these events without our Coventry Christian community. It was an amazing day! We had coal tunnels to explore! Students were assigned industries like the Spring City Knitting Mill and Ball Brothers Glass Manufacturing to “work”. Students were greeted by an Italian meal and a deli station. Everywhere you walked there was something new to discover.
P is for Pizza!
On Thursday, Ms. Kate’s Pre-K class celebrated their hard work so far by having a Pizza & Pajama Party! They danced, played Hot Potato with a pumpkin, decorated their very own pizza craft, and enjoyed yummy pizza delivered by Little Italy!

Congratulations to Calvin Hackett on making the District III AA Golf Tournament! Cal shot a 93 on Wednesday at the Conference Championship at Tanglewood Golf Course to make Districts. We are proud of you, Cal!
NHS Helps Assemble 216 Boxes with Feed My Starving Children!
The National Honor Society and the National Junior Honor Society volunteered with Feed My Starving Children. They helped assemble and pack 216 boxes which contained 47,088 meals that will feed 129 children in third-world countries, for an entire year.
Mystery Readers Visit the 3’s Class
Mrs. Ridge’s class is excited to have mystery readers visit us during the year. Our first 2 readers came in this month, Mrs. Collins & Mrs. Metz. The class enjoyed hearing their families favorite stories. We can’t wait to see who is next!
