Our Eagles played with heart and determination. A huge shout out to our amazing players for leaving it all on the field, and our passionate fans who made this first game unforgettable.

This is just the beginning! We have a thrilling season ahead, and we cannot wait to see what our Eagles have in store for us.

Scenes from the Secondary Retreat

Secondary students spent last week gathering by house to build relationships with their new teammates. (Welcome 6th graders to Secondary!) They were able to compete in camp games, ate meals together, had devotional time, and tried to stay cool in the 90-degree temperatures. We are always thankful for this time together to get to know each other more, and to start of the year with Christ as the center! We were blessed this year to watch two of our students be baptized in front of their teachers, family, friends and peers. What a way to start a school year!

Back to School Night

As the summer days gradually grow shorter and the scent of sharpened pencils fills the air, it’s that time of year again – back to school season. The transition from carefree summer days to the structured environment of the classroom can be both exciting and daunting. At a Coventry, this transition takes on a unique flavor, as it blends the rich traditions of classical education with a foundation rooted in Christ.

Students are not only exposed to a breadth of subjects, but they also dive deep into the foundational works of literature, history, philosophy, and science. The curriculum is designed to cultivate critical thinking skills, instill a love for learning, and encourage students to engage with the great ideas of the past.

CCS places a strong emphasis on nurturing faith and character. The integration of Christian values into the educational experience allows students to explore the intersections of faith and reason, fostering a well-rounded understanding of the world. They learn how to think critically, communicate effectively, and engage thoughtfully with the world around them.

Back to school at a Classical Christian School is not just about textbooks and assignments – it’s about embracing an education that nourishes the mind, heart, and soul. We are so excited for the year ahead. Welcome Back!
